Needle Lace Sea Shell

This one went quickly, and this is my first picture of Lesson 3 from the Guild of Needle Lace's Basic Booklet.
There are no new stitches, everything is corded single brussels, with a section of pea stitch variation.
I'm using DMC tatting thread, and found some colors in my stash. From left to right, I used #3773, #738, ecru and #353.
Next is the top stitching. I can use the practice, so I'll take it slow and easy and try to make it look good.

I love sea shells, and this one is beautiful! I am determined to take time to learn some new lace making techniques in the new year! Thanks for keeping me inspired!
Beautiful sea shell. I love the colors.
It looks so good! Your stitches are nice and even and beautiful.
Very pretty! Sea shells are such lovely objects and your needle lace example is no exception!
